Review: Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver
About the book:
Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver
Published by: Harpercollins publishers, January 1st 2010
Genre: YA, paranormal
Pages: 496 pages
Synopsis: It's the story of Sam. Sam is a popular girl, with popular friend and a popular boyfriend. She basically lives the perfect life. Until one night, a strange night where she... dies. Except that the morning after, she wakes up. (dramatic sound)
My thoughts: The first half of the book i was so annoyed by Sam, she was such a mean girl and i just hated her. But i know that was the purpose of Lauren Oliver so I think she did a pretty good job on that. I had to push myself to finish the book until the other half: It was so much better and the character development was so good, i finished it much more easily than the first part.
My rating: 3.5/ 5 stars
Sad parts: a tiny bit i guess
Funny part: Tiny bit
Action: 1/5 of the book or so
Who should read that book: If you're not easily annoyed by a mean girl, you can read it, or you'll just straight-up hate the book. It's not really action-packed so if you like that kind of book, go for it.
