Synopsis of the series: In this dystopian chicago, there's 5 factions; Abnegation (the selfless), Amity (the peaceful), Candor (the honest), Erudite (the smart) and the Dauntless (the brave). Each year, every 16 years old teenagers have to make a choice after doing a test. We follow Tris, as she takes the test, choose her faction and go on crazy adventures. In the companion Four, we follow Four, as he does the same 2 years earlier.

Divergent book 1: Divergent
My thoughts: I watched the movie before I read the book (like 6 months before) and at almost every pages I thought:'' HEY! I saw that in the movie haha!''. Anyways, it was a very good book. Tris was so badass and the plot was good and everything was on point.

Divergent book 2: Insurgent
My thoughts: Because the first book was so perfect, my hopes were up with this one. I couldn't say that the author let me down, it was a very good book and the last 50 pages got me litterally shaking, but i thought that Tris made stupid decisions and she was a huge mess. But i get why. Anyway, GOOD BOOK!

Divergent book 3: Allegiant
My thoughts: After reading this book i felt like a piano fell on me. I was a mess, just like Tris was i the second book. But the fact that it made me feel like that, I think it was a good book juste because of that. For a book to have such a big impact on me, i was a pretty awesome book, but not as awesome as the first. The dual point of view was...well...interesting. To be honest, I got confused at some point because Four and Tris talk in very similar ways. So i was reading Four and I thought it was Tris and the other way aroung. Very confusing.

Divergent companion: Four 
My thoughts: I think that Four's point of view was an interesting! Four is so mysterious in the other books, we don't to know him. But in this companion, we get to see his side of the story and why he is how he is.

About the author: 
Veronica Roth wrote the first book while she was in college. The books were supposed to follow our oh-so-loved side character Four, but only a few pages in, she blocked. Few years later, she started again, but from a new point of view: Tris's. She announced not long ago that she will be writing a new serie that will come out in 2017. JUST CAN'T WAIT.
