Review: Rebel Belle by Rachel Hawkins

About the book:
Rebel Belle
Published by: Putnam Juvenile, April 8th 2014
Genre: YA, paranormal, romance
Pages: 352 pages

Synopsis: Harper is a belle, she's ready to be the homecoming queen. But on the night of the homecoming, while she's carefully applying her lipgloss, something really strange happens. And she becomes a full-on badass karate kid AKA Paladin.

My thoughts:Well, this was kind of awesome. Every time I was trying to explain the story to a friend, I just sounded like a complete FOOL. But the story was so COOL. AW. Action perfectly balanced with romance. It was good. It.Was.Good.

My rating: 4/ 5 stars
Sad parts: Not really
Funny part: Yes

Epicness: Hell yeah.
Action:Yes
Who should read that book: Action lover? Romance lover ? Whatever's good lover ? Read it. Just. Read. It.

About the author:

Before writing epic books, Rachel Hawkins was a English Teacher for 3 years. She wrote Hex Haul trilogy and Miss Mayhem (2nd book of Rebel Belle, that I am by the way reading at the time I'm writing this post, so far so good). She is married to a geologist and has a kid. When she's not writing, she's reading, travelling and kinda knitting.
