The Fault In Our Stars by John Green

Genre: Contemporary, romance

Synopsis: Hazel Grace Lancaster was diagnosed with cancer when she was 12 years old. First, it was thyroid, but now it has spread to the lungs. Her doctor recommends that she goes to a cancer support group because they think she's depressed. That's where she meets Augustus Waters, a handsome guy who lost a leg due to his cancer (but he's in remission). And stuff ensues. (Of course you fall in love with the guy before the girl does.)
My thoughts: Can I just say: Augustus, I love you, marry me please. The characters are so loveable. Not only Hazel and Gus, but Hazel's parents too. Ugh. I just love all of them. This is a beautiful love story and I love the fact that the cancer is not sugar-coated or overwhelming. The characters just show a new perspective of cancer. Just wow. One of my favorite book.
My rating: 5/ 5 stars
Sad parts: Yes
Funny part: OH MY GOD YES
Action: Not really
Who should read that book:If you like good books, you'll probably love this one. Oh and you don't have to mind to read about cancer. But I read this when one family member just passed away from cancer and i still think it's a very good book so...yeah. TMI.
About the author:
John Green is a New York Time bestseller author but he's also one of the vlogbrother on youtube, the other one being his brother Hank. He is a nerdfighter (''who fight for intellectualism and to decrease the overall worldwide level of suck''). He's famous for the beautiful romance in his books and his overall awesomness.
