''There is so such thing as bad people. We're all just people who sometimes do bad things''
Synopsis:
Lily hasn't always had it easy, but that's never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She's come a long way from the small town in Maine where she grew up- she gratuated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own businesss. So when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily's life suddenly seems almost too good to be true.
My thoughts:
In the first couples of chapters, I remember I said to myself «This is so silly, I hate Ryle, he has the God complex, he's such a douche». Then... I kind of fell in love with him, not like I fell for Miles in Ugly Love, I still had a funny feeling about Ryle. I liked him, byt I fell like the relationship between him and Lily was...not meant to be? I dont want to say it was wrong in the beginning, they were good for eachother; Lily changed the way Ryle saw the world and vice versa. Ryle made her grow as a person and Lily made him grow as a person and I thought that was fantastic. That's when Atlas comes in. First I want to say that I loved the glimpses into the past throught Lily's journal I read about thow completly different love stories that were also kind of not different at all? I know it's not making any sense. But Atlas's love for Lily was so... delicate, innocent? He didn't want to rush her in anyway. And Ryle and Lily's relationship was all too fast once they got together, so it was different in that way. But both love were kind of doomed, at leat that's what I think. Am I rambling? Okay, so Atlas. DAMN ATLAS I LOVE YOU. BE MY BOYFRIEND. When I read that Atlas was in Boston I was like: OKAY, BE TOGETHER. I was thorn. I wanted Lily to give Atlas a second chance but I wanted to know where her relationshop with Ryle would go. And OOOH where did it go... I think I will end with this because I don't want to spoil it any further. I'll just say that this is such an important read, it impacted me in a lot of ways, it made me see things from another perspective.
My rating: 4,5/ 5 stars
Who should read that book: As I previously said, this book is so important. So I think everybody, EVERYBODY should read this book. I know I say that a lot, but really, read this book, it will change your perspective on a lot of things. I know it did for me
