So today I'm doing the Reader Problems booktag. This tag was created by About To Read and of course, i wasn't tagged by anyone (but who cares.. I know I don't) So let's jump right into it!
QUESTIONS
1. You have 20,000 books on your TBR. How in the world do you decide what to read next?
I do not decide. My heart just tells me what I want to read next.
2. You’re halfway through a book and you’re just not loving it. Do you quit or are you committed?
I'm committed. I put down the book for a few days if needed, and I jump back in. Maybe I'm just off or in a reading slump.
3.
The end of the year is coming and you’re so close, but so far away on
your Goodreads reading challenge. Do you try to catch up and how?
Yes, of course I have my pride. I read the crap out of my books. But I always set my goal at something I know I can accomplish.
4. The covers of a series you love do. not. match. How do you cope?
I don't. I freak out. But as I am now, I'm always late in series.. so all the covers match because i buy them when they are finished (most of them).
5. Every one and their mother loves a book you really don’t like. Who do you bond with over shared feelings?
My friends. Some of them don't read much, but they always listen to me and my book struggles.
6. You’re reading a book and you are about to start crying in public. How do you deal?
I cry and tell myself I look ridiculous and I look at the woman who's looking at me with a look that says: WHAT?! Read the book and you'll know my feels OKAY? Don't look at me that way!
7.
A sequel of a book you loved just came out, but you’ve forgotten a lot
from the prior novel. Will you re-read the book? Skip the sequel? Try to
find a synopsis on Goodreads? Cry in frustration?!?!?!?
I have a good memory for books. It won't happen. But if it does, I'll look on Goodreads while crying in frustration.
8. You do not want anyone. ANYONE. borrowing your books. How do you politely tell people nope when they ask?
«HEY DON'T TOUCH MY BOOK YOU IDIOT» Just kidding. «Oh, yeah this book is great, if you want to borrow it, there's a library across the street.» Really, my local library is just across the street.
9. Reading ADD. You’ve picked up and put down 5 books in the last month. How do you get over your reading slump?
I cry myself to sleep and watch netflix until I regain the beautiful power to read.
10. There are so many new books coming out that you’re dying to read! How many do you actually buy?
As much as I can.
11. After you’ve bought the new books you can’t wait to get to, how long do they sit on your shelf before you get to them?
Too long. weeks... maybe a month.. or two...or three...
