Review: Miss Mayhem by Rachel Hawkins

About the book:
Miss Mayhem
Published by: Putnam Juvenile, April 8th 2014
Genre: YA, paranormal, romance
Pages: 273 pages

Synopsis:
As this book is a sequel... I can't really do a synopsis without spoiling something so yeah... No synopsis for you MUHAHAHAHA. But the first book is about a kick ass girl who's a paladin, so she has to save the oracle no matter what. One problem here... The oracle is her nemesis since they were in diapers.

My thoughts:

It was a pretty decent book but Rebel Belle was certainly better. It felt a little weird at the end because it felt a bit final, like it was a duology and not a trilogy (is it?) But I liked it anyways, it was entertaining and fun to read (less than Rebel Belle but still !) Harper was the same kick-ass sassy girl. I just wished she put a little less on herself (really, I'm a nurse and I don't put that much pressure on myself haha)

My rating: 4/ 5 stars
Sad parts: Not really
Funny part: Yes

Epicness:YUP
Action:Yes
Who should read that book: If you read Rebel Belle and liked it, I guess you should read Miss Mayhem.

About the author:

Before writing epic books, Rachel Hawkins was a English Teacher for 3 years. She wrote Hex Haul trilogy and the Rebel Belle series (obviously). She is married to a geologist and has a kid. When she's not writing, she's reading, travelling and kinda knitting.
